Perodua Myvi is sold in some countries as Daihatsu Sirion and Toyota Passo

Perodua Myvi is sold as Daihatsu Sirion in some countries such as UK and South Africa. While in some countries, this little 1.3 hatchback is sold as Toyota Passo. Therefore,

Perodua Myvi = Daihaisu Sirion = Toyota Passo

Daihatsu Sirion has received a facelift and performance boost in South Africa. Daihatsu Sirion 1.3 has been tested to be able to make 0-100 km/h at 11.5 seconds. Daihatsu Sirion can reach 170km/h at top speed. I am not sure whether our Perodua Myvi is having the same performance as Daihatsu Sirion.

The Sport model of Daihatsu Sirion 1.5 manual introduced in South Africa can bring the car from standstill to 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds. I am wondering when will Perodua introduce the 1.5 litre Myvi to Malaysian.

Daihatsu's funky little Sirion has had a facelift, and the Sports model has been given a 15% increase in capacity to give it performance more in line with its name and image.
