ETCM launched Nissan Grand Livina MPV in Malaysia

Finally, Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) launched the long awaited Nissan Grand Livina MPV in Malaysia on 19th Dec 2007. The Grand Livina has been released in China and Indonesia last year and this April respectively. Grand Livina won the "World Most Beautiful Automobile Award" in China and "Best Small Compact MPV" in 2007 Indonesia Car of the year. Grand Livina is now the best selling Nissan model in Indonesia with 12,500 units sold.

Grand Livina is available in 1.6 liter and l.8 liter engines. The 1.6 liter engine can produce 105bhp at 5500 rpm while the 1.8 liter engine can produce 128bhp. The 1.6 liter Grand Livina available in manual and automatic transmission while the 1.8 liter only available in automatic version. The 1.8 liter automatic transmission is using Nissan C-VTC (Continuously Variable-valve Timing Control) technology.

Grand Livina is priced competitively from RM 82,000 to RM 95,300. This price includes insurance, road tax, registration fee, ownership claim fee and 3-years or 100,000 km warranty.

DRIVES LIKE A SEDAN, FITS LIKE AN MPV is slogan used by ETCM. This is what most MPV buyers are looking at. Interior wise, the soft material and cream colors created the luxurious and spaciousness feelings. If you prefer to have wood trim, then you must opt for the 1.8 liter version.
