Naza Citra II Rondo launched in Malaysia



2nd generation of Naza Citra has been launched in Malaysia on 15 September 2008 as Naza Citra II Rondo. Naza Citra II Rondo is a rebadge of Kia Rondo, which is the replacement model for Kia Carens. However, in Malaysia, Naza Citra II Rondo will not immediately replace the Naza Citra. Both Naza Citra and Naza Citra II Rondo will be available to Malaysian buyers. The Citra II Rondo is priced competitively from RM 84,888 for the EX model and RM 88,888 for the EXS model.

Naza Citra II Rondo is sharing the same GEMA-based 2.0 liter DOHC CVVT engine with Kia Optima, which can produce up to 145 hp and 189Nm of torque. The Citra II Rondo uses 4-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting, which means you can have the effortless driving with auto transmission on normal driving and also enjoy the more aggressive clutch less manual style driving whenever you like.

The following features come standard with Naza Citra Rondo EX:
1) ABS
2) Dual SRS Airbags
3) Fog lamps
4) Trip computer
5) 6-jets windscreen washers
6) 6-speaker sound system
7) Manual climate control
8) 15-inch alloy rims
9) Goodyear NCT5 tyres

The Naza Citra II Rondo EXS has the following additional features:
1) Automatic Climate Control
2) Steering wheel audio control
3) 16-inch ally rims
4) Roof rack

In terms of safety, Naza Citra II Rondo scores 5 stars National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) in US. Anyhow, the US version comes with 6 airbags and ABS with EBD.

2.0 liter MPV with all the advanced and luxury features in less than RM 90K. Naza and Kia have bring in another value for money car into Malaysian market. Naza Citra and Citra II Rondo impressive price will surely give Proton a challenging task to price its coming soon 1.6 liter MPV. Naza Kia already received 200 bookings for the newly launched Naza Citra II Rondo and Naza Kia aims to sell 600 units of Citra II Rondo in year 2008.

    infact korean car well know for high fc, and ofcos higher cc another cause of high fc.

    currently korean hard to survive in Malaysia with the return of Proton and Perodua dominated the low fc market.

    for 80k people likely go for Innova or the Livina, because it is japan car with better resale value and cheaper maintenance.
