Honda City Malaysia

The long awaited 3rd generation Honda City is finally here in Malaysia. Honda Malaysia has unveiled the all new Honda City on 18th December 2008. This is an all-new Honda City from interior to exterior. The new Honda City available in 2 versions with the following price tags:

Unlike the previous version of Honda City where buyers can have the choice of i-DSI or VTEC engine, this new Honda City only offered in 1.5l SOHC i-VTEC engine. The 1.5l i-VTEC engine can produce up to 120bhp at 6000 rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4800 rpm. Besides high performance, fuel economy and environtal friendly are also not neglected in the i-VTEC engine. The i-VTEC engine is compliant with euro 4 level emission standard.

Besides the i-DSI engine, Honda has also done away the CVT gearbox in the previous version of Honda City and replaced it with a 5-speed automatic transmission gearbox with Shift Hold Control. The Shift Hold Control help to reduce gear change during conering and put the car to the state ready for acceleration right after conering. Manual transmission is available in Thailand and Singapore but not in Malaysia. Drivers who want more sporty driving can opt for the grade E version, which comes with paddle shifter on the steering wheel. Drivers can control gear change as they are driving a manual car by simply switching the paddle shifter on the steering wheel.

The new Honda City comes with Electric Power Steering (EPS) and dual SRS airbags as standard. The new Honda City has 5.0 minimum turning radius to make the car really easy to drive in congested city road.

In terms of braking system, the new City is fitted with ventilated disc brakes at the front and solid disc brakes at the back. The braking system also equipped with ABS (Anti-lock braking system) and EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution), which is quite standard for a car at this class. The Grade S version is fitted with 15-inch alloy rims and 175/65 tyres while the Grade E version is fitted with 16-inch alloy rims and 185/55 tyres.

  10. We will have of the best selling and modified cars of the town and a truly unusual vehicle. If we talk about the specifications of the Honda car then we will come to know that it is a five-passenger SUV and every time its body body is been refreshed and new changes are included in its stylist and making by adding up some more safety feature, updating things and all the types of standard equipment changes etc. 2017 porsche 911 turbo
